Orientation
International Students
There is a mandatory orientation session for new international students on Wednesday, July 1 from 1-4 p.m. The University's Slutzker Center for International Services (SCIS) will lead this session. This office and their website provide a lot of advice to international students about what to expect when you arrive in Syracuse and on campus as well as what is required of you.
Newhouse Orientation
All Newhouse students beginning classes this summer are required to attend the new student orientation on Monday, July 6 (this includes international students who also attended the international student orientation).
Orientation will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the lobby of Newhouse 3. Dress is casual, but photos of each student will be taken for our graduate directory. Students will receive a tour of the Newhouse facilities, and will attend an information session and a meeting with individual program chairs. Further details will be provided in mid-May.
