Our programs offer a means to obtain specialized communications training in a relatively short time period. Many of our students tell us that the concentrated 12-month curriculum is what put us on their list, but there's much more to Newhouse than that. We offer a broader range of programs than most communications schools, which means you get to interact with a wider variety of faculty and students. The contacts you'll make through the Newhouse alumni network are invaluable in getting your first communications job and then advancing through your career. Many alumni and prominent leaders in the communications industry visit campus during the year to meet with students, and most of those presentations are open to everyone in the school. We have excellent computer and production facilities. And, Syracuse is a pretty nice place to spend a year!
